Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with patients to obtain medical history, answer questions, and explain procedures to ensure understanding and comfort. 

  • Ensures the proper maintenance and operation of equipment by performing quality control activities and promptly reporting equipment or environmental issues. 

  • Provides patient education and support, including preparing patients for procedures and addressing their physical and psychological needs. Escalates concerns through appropriate channels as needed. 

  • Prioritizes patient flow and coordinates care through consistent and frequent communication with patients, the care team, and families. Documents patient care activities in electronic health record systems and distribute final images to the PACS system in a timely manner for interpretation.

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Associate's degree required; or 

  • Certificate in Radiologic Technology (awarded before January 1, 2015) from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) required. 

 

Experience 

  • Prior work experience is not required. 

 

Licenses and Certifications 

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire in Maryland; required within 90 days of hire in Washington, DC. 

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the applicable state (Maryland or Virginia) required upon hire. 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary

The restorative nursing aide serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Includes using adaptive equipment, fall prevention, appropriate turning, positioning and repositioning techniques, basic range of motion exercises, and good body mechanics. Assists with training and implementation of special programs designed to improve resident's quality of life, ability to perform daily activities and maintain their highest functional level of independence. Obtains resident's report prior to providing care. Documents resident's progress of care and behaviors, recognizes and reports changes in resident's condition promptly.

Includes dressing/undressing programs, grooming, bathing, toileting, exercise/movement, and eating/swallowing programs. Demonstrates correct use and application of ice and paraffin baths, heat packets etc. according to state specific regulations. Uses the EMR accurately. Handles linens properly and disposes of soiled linens, clothing or supplies in adherence to regulations and guidelines: uses standard precautions by using personal protective equipment and observes transmission guidelines, washes hands between resident cares, report signs/symptoms of resident infections to appropriate staff in a timely manner.

Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. Completion of a C.NA training program, training if required by state and at least 40 hours of specific training related to restorative care procedures (may be provided by licensed therapists providing service within the organization).

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.

Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor

vehicle report and proof of valid driver’s license. Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of

this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.

Qualifications

Working under minimal supervision, the skilled trades Electrician Journeyperson is responsible for layout, installation, repair and preventative maintenance of complicated electrical equipment and circuits, troubleshooting and technical expertise on control systems.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment

  • Analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays

  • Perform electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment

Interested individuals must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical trade or six (6) years of documented experience as an Electrician

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Summary:

As a key member of GFL’s HAZMAT Emergency Response Team, the HAZMAT Technician will provide a high level of technical expertise to emergency activations involving dangerous goods. The Technician will supplement our current team to ensure immediate response is provided to all emergency response calls, 24 hours per day and 365 days per year. What you'll do:

    • Respond immediately to spills, covering rail, road, and fixed facilities.

        Key Responsibilities 

        Learn and apply Retention Sales and Customer Care concepts, procedures, and methodologies. 

        Perform entry-level sales and support tasks within a designated region or business area. 

        Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone or ticketing systems, providing personalized and thoughtful communication. 

        Actively listen and ask questions to understand customer needs, showing empathy and respect. 

        Handle a variety of customer-facing duties, including: 

        Addressing requests to disconnect or remove services 

        Providing billing and pricing information 

        Resolving standard issues remotely or educating customers on resolution steps 

        Scheduling service appointments when remote resolution isn’t possible 

        Arranging product returns or exchanges 

        Managing add/change/delete requests in hosted platforms 

        Use effective telephone-based selling skills to: 

        Build rapport and identify customer issues 

        Offer creative solutions and explain product/service benefits 

        Negotiate household spend and upsell additional services 

        Accurately and efficiently input orders 

        Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals.

        Qualifications 

        High School Diploma or GED 

        Ability to ask fact-finding questions to identify solutions aligned with customer needs 

        Demonstrated patience and professionalism in all customer interactions 

        Working knowledge of Cable One products and services 

        Strong communication and active listening skills 

        Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-pressure situations

        Pay Rate:

        Job Summary and Qualifications

        As an Open Heart Surgical Technologist, you will work under the direct supervision of the circulating OR RN to assist the operating surgeon.         · You will manage instruments, equipment and supplies for all surgical procedures

        · Experience in OR preferred
