ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Uses Respiratory therapy processes to support assessment of patient utilizing a variety of skills such as pulmonary diagnostics, chest radiograph, hemodynamic values, laboratory values, and correlates blood gases and electrolytes. Can identify and address the special needs of patient population specific to department services.
  • Operates specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues. Assists physician with bedside or other procedures as applicable to facility.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
  • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
  • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
  • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.

Where You Will Work:


Perianesthesia at ABMC operates in two dedicated locations within the hospital: East , located on the first floor, and Main , situated on the second floor. Each unit functions independently and delivers comprehensive, high-quality care across all three phases: Preoperative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Discharge.


Our multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), all working collaboratively with ABMC physicians and Anesthesia providers. Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to every patient.


Our goal is to ensure safe, seamless, and patient-centered care throughout the surgical and procedural journey.

We're Looking For:


  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS upon completion of orientation

• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Where You Will Work:

Aurora BayCare Medical Center is home to one of the region's most advanced and innovative cardiac catheterization programs. Our Cath Lab holds the ACC Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI, recognizing excellence in both diagnostic and interventional procedures and demonstrating a strong commitment to high quality cardiovascular outcomes.

As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a key clinical role in delivering high quality cardiac care throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will support cardiologists and the interventional team by managing patient care during procedures while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of specialized cardiac monitoring and procedural equipment.

All cardiac catheterization procedures are performed in our state of the art hybrid OR Cath Labs, designed to enhance patient safety, streamline workflow, and eliminate the need for transport during critical situations by combining surgical and interventional technologies in one space.

Our team consistently maintains Tier 1 Team Member Engagement and Top Tier Patient Experience scores, fostering a culture grounded in collaboration, respect, and exceptional patient care.

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
