What's It All About?

We are looking for a self-driven and results-oriented Retail Sales Associate, Key Holder who is passionate about customer service and coaching team members to achieve their goals within a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure each guest feels welcomed by spending quality time, asking questions in order to learn about his/her needs, preferences and lifestyle
• Serve as a product knowledge expert with the ability to sell and market a broad range of apparel, including private labels, name brands, and tailored clothing
• Assist with building a superior customer-focused sales team by providing on-going coaching and training for selling skills, behaviors, and operational procedures

Warehouse Associate

Actively greets members, provides a high level of member service, performs clean up, department set-up and closing tasks as necessary.

Job duties include:

• Greeting members, helping members load order onto conveyor belt, determining member packing preferences, answering questions, relating information on special promotions, thanking members, assisting cashier by counting items left in cart, checking under items and positioning them for scanning.
• Packing member orders into boxes and loading to a separate cart or flatbed. Checking packaging for tampering.
• Following all safety and security procedures. Following proper departmental procedures for performance of duties.
• Assisting members loading orders into the car when appropriate. May assist members with self checkouts with regards to scanning heavy merchandise, entering in items numbers. May assist members with self checkouts through monitoring the registers for errors and keeping the belt area clean of product and debris.
• Maintaining cleanliness of register area and general front-end area. Cleaning spills and trip hazards immediately.
• Performing set up and closing duties for the department, such as returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers, and cleaning area.
• Transferring pallets of merchandise from the receiving area to the steel shelves and bulk wall for storage, or directly to the sales floor. Assisting with stocking. Clearing sales floor debris. Observing and ensuring correct product signage; creating computer-generated signs. Labeling unmarked product with item number. Ensuring proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials. Assisting with department duties as necessary. Assisting in other departments of the warehouse as necessary. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.

Seasonal Sales Associate

Compensation for this role ranges from $12.00 - $19.95 per hour, varying with experience and qualifications.

Personal Caregiver

The Home Care Plus division of The League is seeking dedicated, hard-working and self-motivated Personal Caregivers to join our team. This part-time, non-exempt position is responsible for helping older adults and persons with disabilities to remain in their own home and carry out functions of daily living, self-care, and mobility by providing hands-on, non-medical personal care assistance in accordance with a personalized Consumer Care Plan. The ideal candidate should have a strong work-ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and be motivated to serve our consumers.

Essential Duties/Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Provide assistance with personal care which can include bathing, partial bathing, oral hygiene, hair care including clipping of hair, shaving, hand and foot care, intact skin care, and application of cosmetics, dressing.

Provide assistance with mobility which can include proper body mechanics, transfer, ambulation and use of assistive devices.

Provide assistance with elimination which can include assistance with bedpan, bedside commode and toilet. Incontinent care, emptying urine collection and colostomy bags.

Provide assistance with safety which can include use of the principles of health and safety in relation to self and individual, identification and elimination of safety hazards. As well as the use of universal precautions.

Provide reminders to consumer to self-administer medications.

Provide assistance with correspondence and bill paying.

Escort individuals to community activities that are therapeutic in nature or that assist with developing and maintaining independence.

Provide assistance with light housekeeping tasks.

Provide assistance with meals or nutrition.

Maintain positive relationships with the consumers served, community service agencies, co-workers, and other professionals.

Make daily entries regarding activities performed for consumers in staff member time sheets and submitting said time sheets for bi-weekly payroll processing.

Must provide proof of a negative TB test result on an annual basis as a condition of employment. Must successfully complete required quarterly training programs.

Must have the ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of two years of documented, supervised Attendant Care Aide experience or equivalent.
