The Department of Neurosurgery at Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Peripheral Nerve Neurosurgeon to establish and grow a comprehensive clinical program serving patients throughout Penn State Health and the surrounding region.

This faculty position offers a unique opportunity to build a dedicated Peripheral Nerve Surgery Program within a nationally recognized academic health system. The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical care for patients with complex peripheral nerve disorders while supporting the department's missions of exceptional patient care, education, research, and innovation.

How we’ll support you:

  • Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of an initial base salary of $800,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. Additionally, there is up to a $75,000 annual quality bonus . We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus . A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

What you’ll bring:

  • MD/DO Education
  • Unrestricted license in Colorado or able to obtain
  • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • DEA
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • We are looking for an aggressive program builder in CV surgery, or an interest in building a niche like thoracic, minimally invasive mitral valve, or a large ECMO focus, etc.
