General Manager Role

The General Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of the Soccer Stars business, including business development, operations, sales and marketing, customer experience, and partner relationships. This role leads day-to-day operations, ensures the delivery of high-quality programs, drives business growth, and fosters a culture of operational excellence to deliver an exceptional experience for children, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

  • Identify and securenew partnerships withpreschools, daycare centers, elementaryschools, parks andrecreation departments,community centers, andsports facilities to drive revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Establish revenue and enrollment targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment in classes, camps, clinics, and seasonal programs
  • Identify opportunities to generate revenue through new programs, birthday parties, private lessons, camps, and special events.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and facility contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, childcare providers, community organizations, and facility partners to support long-term growth.
  • Analyze operational performance, enrollment metrics, revenue reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent Soccer Stars at community events, school fairs, festivals, and networking events to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

2.Operational Excellence

  • Lead daily operations and administrative functions across multiple locations within the territory.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate coaching staff to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of the Soccer Stars curriculum.
  • Manage coach schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure smooth program execution and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee program logistics, including class schedules, facility coordination, equipment management, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor program quality and conduct regular evaluations to ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, referral programs, and special offers that support enrollment growth.
  • Provide on-field coaching support when needed to maintain program quality, support team development or mitigate last min cancellations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, risk management procedures, and local regulations.

3.Customer Experience

  • Maintain the highest standards of program quality, safety, and customer service to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, childcare center directors, camp directors, partner facilities, and community leaders.
  • Uphold Soccer Stars’ customer service promise with fast and friendly communication, and keep customers informed with latest updates (rescheduling, cancellations) in a professional way.
  • Manage customer inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure an exceptional experience for children, families, and partners.
  • Go-to person for coaches with regular check-ins to encourage growth, share feedback and celebrate wins.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Education, Hospitality, Recreation, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development and revenue growth.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations management in a service-based organization.
  • Experience working with schools, childcare centers, community organizations, or youth programs is preferred.
  • Soccer or sports background is preferred but not mandatory.

The Office of the Public Defender’s Office for Montgomery County will provide zealous representation to indigent defendants in the District and Circuit Courts of the State’s 15th Judicial Circuit (Montgomery County). The Office employs a team approach to litigation in which Deputy Public Defenders head teams of Lead Trial Attorneys and Trial Attorneys in strategizing, problem-solving, and client consultation as a case proceeds from indictment to termination. This system permits senior staff to target and monitor potentially complex issues, yet allows trial attorneys to independently manage cases where appropriate. Other features of the comprehensive approach at the MCPDO include staff to serve as litigative/investigative support to complement attorneys’ efforts to provide professional representation throughout the criminal process.


PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:



  • Provide zealous, professional legal representation to his/her clients in all court proceedings related to the charged offense(s);

  • Communicates with the court, opposing counsel, probation officers, witnesses, clients and the families of clients concerning case-related issues;

  • Maintains in-depth and updated knowledge of criminal defense trial and appellate practices and case law. Develops expertise with state sentencing guidelines, understands the ethical obligations and restrictions, and practices courtroom advocacy. Pursues all appropriate available training opportunities including local or nationally sponsored core training within the limits of funding, workload and Defender approval;

  • Constant development of knowledge of criminal defense practices in the State of Alabama, including Circuit procedures, controlling state and federal precedent, and client protection strategies;

  • Research and preparation of all appropriate motions and supporting documents for submission to District and Circuit courts;

  • Prepares legal memoranda, reviews of issues, comprehensive statements of relevant facts, standards of review, and briefs complex legal and factual arguments. Consults with investigative and legal staff regarding issues relevant to the case;

  • Analyzes reports and statements and determines relevant legal issues. Determines the need for an evidentiary hearing and prepares evidence for presentation;

  • Performs legal research utilizing all available resources including computer-assisted legal research tools. Research includes state and federal statutes, case law, regulations, precedents, treaties, sentencing guidelines, and related subject matter. Analyzes legal decisions, opinions, rulings, memoranda and related legal materials. Compiles and summarizes substantive information on statutes, treaties and specific legal subjects;

  • Updates research and prepares for oral presentation of evidence. Prioritizes issues, analyzes difficulties of the case and prepares responses to possible adverse arguments; and

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:



  • 1-4 years of trial experience, preferably criminal;

  • A comprehensive knowledge of legal principles, practices, methods and techniques;

  • The ability to identify and evaluate pertinent facts and regulations, policies and precedents;

  • Skill and judgment in the analysis of cases and legal opinions;

  • An understanding of criminal law, criminal procedure, and evidence;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • The ability to work with a diverse population and be attentive to the needs of the clientele;

About The Role

Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development will define and execute clinical development strategies for Neurocrine’s obesity pipeline, providing independent medical leadership across Phase 1–3 and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Your Contributions

  • Develop and lead obesity clinical development strategies (accountable for study design and medical integrity across Phase 1–3)
  • Serve as Program/Therapeutic Medical Lead; provide medical leadership and input into integrated development plans
  • Drive execution aligned to corporate objectives, regulatory strategy, and scientific rationale
  • Translate clinical strategy into study designs and operational plans delivering high-quality data
  • Lead clinical synopses; contribute to protocols/amendments/study reports
  • Oversee data collection strategy and interpretation/integration of clinical data
  • Partner with Clinical Operations for trial execution per NBI SOPs, GCP, and regulatory requirements
  • Assess and disposition adverse events with Drug Safety; evaluate benefit–risk throughout development
  • Engage external experts/investigators/KOLs to inform strategy and trial design; support investigator selection and act as Sponsor medical monitor/representative
  • Lead analysis/presentation of study results; guide scientific disclosures (abstracts, presentations, publications)
  • Partner with Research/Translational Medicine on biomarker strategies
  • Interface across Research/Product/Business Development; resource and budget input; recruit/mentor teams; manage CROs/consultants; contribute to clinical development policies/processes/best practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO (or equivalent) in relevant clinical specialty AND 4+ years clinical experience with broad bio/pharmaceutical/CRO drug development experience; OR accredited residency training and board certification preferred
  • Deep clinical development expertise; understanding of regulatory/technical/business considerations
  • Track record leading IND/NDA or similar regulatory submissions/interactions
  • Strong GCP, translational medicine, biomarker development, study design, biostatistics, and data interpretation
  • Successful leadership of cross-functional matrixed teams; manage external CROs/vendors
  • Proven ability to drive strategy from early development through late-stage execution

  • Base salary range: $301,100.00–$411,000.00; annual bonus target 35% of earned base; eligibility for equity long-term incentive

What You’ll Do:

Practice Growth & Business Development

  • Serve as a leader and ambassador for CPL's K-12 Education Practice within the marketplace.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities while expanding existing client partnerships.
  • Lead business development efforts including networking, conferences, industry involvement, strategic pursuits, and proposal development.
  • Maintain a strong client portfolio and contribute to achieving practice revenue, profitability, and annual growth goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding project visioning, planning, and decision-making.

Project & Operational Leadership

What You Bring:

The rate for this position generally ranges between $150,000 to 185,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
