Manager Of Ancillary Services

The Manager of Ancillary Services is responsible for the supervision of Durable Medical Equipment and Ancillary Services units: Oversees DME Coordinators and Ancillary Case Managers and works collaboratively with all areas within Utilization Management. In addition, the Manager will collaborate with the VP of Utilization Management in the coordination of clinical staff for new and on-going programs and projects.

Job Duties

  • Manage employees to meet and exceed service requirements and objectives
  • Recruit, develop, motivate and retain high caliber team members of nurse/social work case managers
  • Coach and lead team to continuously improve operational performance and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Monitor HP Connect (portal) authorizations and functionality as it interfaces with CCMS
  • Maintain a positive work environment that supports motivation and team work
  • Responsible for the continual assessment of staff functionality to enhance team skills and capabilities
  • Manage expenses while meeting operational, financial and service requirements
  • Manage daily operations of Ancillary Services unit, including denial audits, staff audits, timesheets, time-off requests, staff meetings and ensuring timely actions and interventions, assisting in data analysis and reporting of outcomes.
  • Leads monthly staff meetings supported by agenda and meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with and assist Directors, Vice President and SR and Medical Directors in the development, design, and implementation of new programs
  • Work collaboratively with VP of Utilization Management to assure compliance of regulatory requirements and reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation of program activities for external and internal initiatives to assure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in NCQA Survey preparation
  • Work with Contracting Department to ensure appropriate number of vendors in network for DME and Ancillary Services.
  • Monitor and trend utilization of all Ancillary services, especially E1399 coding by vendors
  • Review and maintain clinical criteria with Medical Directors for DME and chronic diseases
  • Develop policies and procedures pertaining to pre certification of Ancillary Services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary/ Medical Director group rounds weekly with UM, DM and QM teams
  • Participate in Clinical Quality Committee, Utilization Management Committee and Service Quality Committee.
  • Participate in any adhoc committees as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Specialized Diploma Registered Nurse licensed Pennsylvania
  • 3 years managed care experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management position
  • Working knowledge of PC based applications such as Word, Access, Excel, and current Care Management system (CCMS).
  • Familiarity with data and statistical analysis, knowledge of NCQA standards and overall utilization review function.
  • Knowledge of Interqual criteria.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, team building and verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • must have knowledge of HMO delivery systems.
  • RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania

Coiled Tubing Service Quality Coach

The Coiled Tubing Service Quality Coach is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and consistent execution of coiled tubing operations across Little Red Services. This role provides field-based coaching, technical guidance, and operational oversight to improve service quality, reduce nonproductive time (NPT), and ensure adherence to company standards, client expectations, and HSE requirements.

The Service Quality Coach serves as a key link between field crews, engineering, and management, ensuring alignment of operational objectives and continuous improvement across all coiled tubing activities.

Essential duties include:

  • Monitor coiled tubing operations in the field to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with job plans, operating procedures, client expectations, and company service quality standards.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to supervisors, operators, and crew members to reinforce safe work practices, improve technical execution, strengthen decision-making, and support consistent performance across shifts and job sites.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce nonproductive time, improve job efficiency, prevent recurring issues, and support corrective actions through field observations, post-job reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by modeling safe behaviors, reinforcing hazard recognition, supporting job safety analyses, participating in safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a field technical resource for coiled tubing operations, including equipment setup, pressure control, well intervention activities, contingency planning, and adherence to approved procedures and operating limits.
  • Support crew development by identifying skill gaps, reinforcing competency requirements, assisting with progression tracking, and providing input on training needs, readiness, and practical field performance.
  • Represent the company professionally in the field by supporting communication with client representatives, helping resolve operational concerns, and ensuring service delivery reflects customer expectations and contractual requirements.
  • Review and support accurate completion of field documentation, job reports, safety observations, service quality records, incident follow-up, and operational feedback needed to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor equipment readiness and performance, identify recurring maintenance or reliability concerns, and help standardize field practices to improve consistency, reduce variation, and support safe, dependable operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Required experience includes:

  • 5+ years of coiled tubing field experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience in coiled tubing operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of CT operations, equipment, and downhole applications.
  • Proven leadership and coaching experience in field operations.
  • Strong understanding of HSE and company standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Driver License required.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification required.
  • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Well Control certification upon hire.

Preferred experience includes:

  • 10+ years of experience in well servicing/well interventions.
  • Experience with Arctic or remote operations environments.
  • Involvement in equipment builds, commissioning, or procedural development.

Working on the North Slope:

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

Position Summary:

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow participation in and awareness of Bronx Green-Up activities and events through mediums that include e-blasts, promotional materials, and social media campaigns.
  • Develop, organize, and conduct activities and events to engage the public with Bronx Green-Up.
  • Track and record all relevant data related to outreach, education, volunteer management, and technical assistance for required reports.
  • Develop, coordinate, and teach workshops and training programs on compost and other horticulture topics.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to Bronx residents, schools, community sites, neighborhood groups, and non-profit organizations interested in composting and community stewardship activities.
  • Create tip sheets, handouts, flyers, signs, and other materials.
  • Recruit, train, coordinate, supervise, and develop opportunities for volunteers interested in engaging with the Bronx Green-Up program.
  • Perform tasks such as shoveling, weeding, loading/unloading plant and compost material, etc., in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Additional Bronx Green-Up duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum two years of related work experience, preferably in community outreach, education, environmental programming or related field. Knowledge of and commitment to composting, community greening and environmental stewardship. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and other common computer applications. Experience working with the public, independently and as part of a collaborative team, in a variety of settings. Valid New York State driver's license. Local travel required. Weekends and some evening hours required. Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to, at minimum, work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
