Grady Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Services Attending Psychiatrist

The position is for an attending psychiatrist who has an active medical license and is board certified or board eligible. The position requires four 8-hour shifts per week with 8 hours of administrative time evenings until midnight, and on weekends regularly. Holidays will also need to be covered, and the applicant will be expected to help with this.

The attending psychiatrist will diagnose, treat, and disposition psychiatric patients who are in need of acute mental health treatment. The possible presentations include, but are not limited to, acute psychosis, drug or alcohol intoxication, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, relationship conflicts, aggression, and medication refill.

An attending psychiatrist can expect to supervise trainees and to see patients on their own if necessary. In addition, the attending psychiatrist will see medical issues on 13A and 13B. It is expected that once the schedule is published, the psychiatrist will fulfill his or her assigned shifts or find someone to replace them.

Job Description

  • Must have an HHA or CNA certification
  • Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines as directed by the LPN/LVN/RN and/or the Assisted Living Director/Health and Wellness Director.
  • Count and sign on approved form, all narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys. Contact a supervisor immediately with discrepancies.
  • Order all necessary medication and treatments from appropriate pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is no less than 7 days.
  • Notify supervisor when supply is less than 2 days and medicine hasn't been received.
  • Responsible for receiving and verifying all medicine received is accurate according to pharmacy label and MAR. Notifies pharmacy and DH&W of any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for proper storage of all medications and ensuring all lotions, ointments and liquids stored separately from oral medications.
  • Responsible for dating all appropriate vials or bottles at time of initial opening and following pharmacy protocol on length of time they can be used.
  • Responsible for weekly inspections of all medications to ensure all expired medications are removed.
  • Responsible for verifying all current MARs are compared to new MARs at change over time and notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for removing all discontinued medication from med cart and giving it to the supervisor.
  • Provide personal care to residents to include, but not limited to, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating, etc.
  • Provide general nursing care to include, but not limited to, vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights.
  • Document appropriate information in the daily log as required and notify supervisor of all concerns.
  • Answer calls and assist residents with needs as assigned.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning of all medicine carts at end of shift and restocking as needed.
  • Responsible for weekly deep cleaning of all med carts.
  • Attend and participate in staff training and in-services.
  • Must maintain accurate records to include preparation of all medical charts for new admissions and readmissions and ensures medical record is complete within forty-eight (48) hours as Policy and Procedure (P&P) and regulatory guidelines.

Position Overview:

This is a learning position to develop professional skills and gain experience in a clinical andrology/endocrine laboratory with the goal of achieving proficiency in the performance of andrology/endocrine laboratory services in accordance with Illume Fertility’s Protocol Manuals. This position also includes laboratory administrative responsibilities.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services as directed by supervisor to develop proficiency in all required areas.
  • Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, and anti-sperm antibody testing.
  • Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation.
  • Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations.
  • Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records.
  • Other duties as needed.


Education & Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology.
  • Adequate computer skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ARTworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support and help grow our newly-established Civil & Marine division. The Project Manager is responsible for managing marine and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of all phases of civil engineering projects from preconstruction through substantial completion, including site development, grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway improvements, and related infrastructure work.
  • Manage project budgets meticulously, tracking all expenditures and making necessary adjustments to avoid overruns. Drive cost-effective construction practices while ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are never compromised.
  • Review project proposal/plan/estimate to determine and coordinate time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement and administration, including scope development, contract negotiation, enforcement of contract terms, submittal review, and payment processing.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of the work by utilizing a CPM and WPS baseline schedule and monthly schedule updates that are submitted and approved by the client.
  • Effectively communicate contract changes, entitlement arguments and time/cost impact analysis. Responsible for all contract negotiations with the client and vendors. Conduct negotiations in good faith based on fairness, cooperation and standard of business ethics.
  • Responsible for the financial success of the project. Ensure financial progress is tracked accurately and that labor, cost and forecast reports are completed weekly/monthly.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between owners (from federal agencies down to municipalities and private clients including commercial developers and utility companies), engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to facilitate continuous, effective project-level communication.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local and state regulations, all applicable permits, and project quality control procedures.
  • Identify potential project risks related to site conditions, utilities, permitting, weather, and logistics, before they impact the project and lead the development and implementation of mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure alignment between field operations and project management objectives.
  • Lead APMs and project engineers to develop project-specific QC and reporting workflows.
  • Work as member of the estimating team during the project procurement phase.
What We Require for the Project Manager Role:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management or civil construction, with demonstrated experience managing civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, sequencing, and means and methods.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam; familiarity with AutoCAD and civil/site drawings preferred.
  • Proficiency in professional software such as MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, lead project teams, and deliver complex projects successfully.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent professional and technical written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
