DrHouse is seeking board-certified Family Medicine physicians to join our growing telemedicine team. This is a telehealth position open to physicians licensed in New Mexico (NM) . Providers may reside anywhere in the state, including major metropolitan areas, rural regions, and underserved communities throughout New Mexico.

This role offers the flexibility to design a schedule that supports work-life balance while delivering high-quality, patient-centered virtual care statewide.

In this role, you will manage a broad spectrum of clinical cases, including primary care, urgent care, men's and women's health, and chronic conditions , all delivered through secure virtual consultations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues.

Who You Are

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN.
• ABOM certification is a plus.
• Licensed in multiple U.S. states (ideally including CA, TX, or IL).
• Comfortable using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communicator who connects easily with patients virtually.

Education and Experience:

• Two years of pediatric nursing experience or related experience with children or work experience.
• Three years or more of nursing experience. Experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations.
• The ability to effectively work in a developmentally appropriate way with children ages 7-16.
• Must be certified in CPR and maintain the certification throughout employment.
• Must have and maintain Wilderness First Aid training.
• Must maintain a driver’s license free from substance related infractions.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Primary Care Physician (Med/Peds) provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary and preventive care to patients across the lifespan as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role is uniquely qualified to treat both adult and pediatric populations, with patient mix determined by organizational and operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Training:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of accredited residency training

Licensure & Certification:

• Active, unrestricted California Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Med/Peds), Family Medicine, or related primary care specialty
• Current DEA registration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience:

• Prior experience in a community health center or FQHC setting strongly preferred
• Experience working with underserved populations highly desirable
• Experience with electronic health records (e.g., eClinicalWorks) preferred

General Summary

• Provide feedback to system IPAS regarding denial trends, opportunities for improvement, and payor practices.

• Assist the manager of CDRU, UM Director, and Director of Payor Audit with preparation of case escalations for payer negotiations.
• Assist the CDRU RN staff with medical necessity appeals for complex medical cases.
