Summary

Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice – clinician; teacher; leadership; and professional development. Collaborates with colleagues and other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective efficient and value added patient centered care; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Provides leadership in the LPG practice location and throughout Lee Health. Keeps quality and safety in the forefront in the delivery of patient care. Participates/supports the integrated continuum of care of patients within LH/LPG.

Educational Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Medical School and Residency; BC/BE

• Stabilize and manage patients in critical condition
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and formulate treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient encounters and procedures accurately
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
