Driver (Box Truck)

Position Overview

Seeking a reliable and physically fit Driver to operate a box truck and assist with material handling duties. This role is essential to supporting daily operations and ensuring timely delivery and movement of goods.

Schedule

Monday Friday: 6:00 AM until finish

Occasional Saturdays may be required based on workload

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck for deliveries and pickups

Load and unload materials manually and with equipment

Assist with inventory movement and warehouse tasks

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and work areas

Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR)

Must wear steel-toe boots and appropriate PPE

Physically able to lift and move heavy materials

Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Additional Notes

Backgrounds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Candidates must be presentable and professional

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Provides patient with explanations as necessary, but does not counsel or provide opinions. Demonstrates behaviors in line with Service Excellence. May verbally direct patients digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room.
• Participates in a collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues. Assures patient environment safety. Seeks help or advice as soon as possible when patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others. In some cases, may need to immediately summon clinical staff if the patient requires assistance or assistance with removal of any potential safety hazard from room.
• Accompanies patient off unit to any scheduled appointments or tests.
• Documents behaviors and events according to hospital policy and procedures, either on paper or electronically.
