The Aircraft Ground Support Tech ensures the interior/exterior of Warren's aircraft is in pristine condition and ready for take-off. The Aircraft Ground Support Tech is responsible for safely moving aircraft with the hangar and/or tarmac, according to all safety procedures, policies and/or protocols.

Do you have what it takes?

What you'll do:

  • Clean internal and external of aircraft, ensuring highest standard of appearance.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspection to ensure proper tire inflation, fluid levels and plane is fully stocked with necessities.
  • Ensure aircraft is fueled by third-party vendor, according to Pilot's instructions; document and verify accuracy of fuel levels.
  • Work closely with pilots and other ground staff to coordinate aircraft movement and preparation activities.
  • Operate tug in order to move aircraft around the hangar and/or tarmac, in accordance to all safety procedures, policies, and/or protocols; ensure tug is properly connected.
  • Ensure proper equipment is being used for the movement of aircraft based on aircraft weight.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding aircraft movement, inspections and/or other findings observed during handling.
  • Maintain hangar, ensuring it is clean and organized.
  • Maintain bedroom and bathroom linens.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); one to three years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous ground handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft handling procedures.
  • Basic understanding of aviation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Familiar with Marshalling signals and two-way radio communication.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must be able to pass FAA security clearance.
  • Ability to safely operate aircraft associated equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to work various hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Valid driver's license to obtain flight line driving privileges.

The Project Management Consultant shall assist in the development of a project management curriculum that supports Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) requirements, conduct project management classroom training that enables FAC-P/PM, and provide mentoring.
