Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Accelerate Growth & Engagement: generate new business through proactive outreach, including prospecting, telemarketing, cold calling, and in-person sales visits across several markets. Spend 3.5 to 4 days each week on sales activities like field visits, account follow-ups, networking, joint sales calls, and engaging with local markets, as well as conducting regular travel to client sites.
  • Expand Market Reach: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand using industry tools to guide sales strategies. Actively contribute to sales forecasting, performance evaluations, and the creation of annual budgets and marketing plans by offering insights and recommendations that support the overall goals of the hotel portfolio.
  • Drive Sales, Optimize Deals, & Amplify Brand: Negotiate corporate and extended stay agreements within approved rates by working with Revenue Management and hotel leadership. Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to optimize pricing, availability, and account strategies. Execute quarterly action plans for both assigned and underperforming properties through establishing and reinforcing a strong sales culture by coaching General Managers on prospecting, local account development, and field-based selling techniques. Consistently elevate the StayAPT brand by serving as an exemplary representative at Chambers of Commerce and networking events, ensuring a positive and impactful presence.
  • Execute Reporting & Support Tasks: Regularly prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, sharing sales activity, action items, and performance updates with regional leadership. Support the Director of Regional Sales on property-level sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring completion of assigned tasks and directives, in addition to other duties that may arise.

Salary & Bonus

About the role:
