The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge is an excellent benefit for installation and Unit Commanders who have members about to be discharged from Active Duty. As an Optical Instrument Repairer (Title 32), WG-3306-10, you will perform the below duties:

  1. Repairs, modifies, overhauls, inspects, troubleshoots, tests, adjusts, and cleans the optics and supporting mechanical and electrical elements of complex panoramic telescopes. These contain offset prism assemblies, fire control instruments and a wide variety of less complex instruments and devices such as transits, theodolites, aiming circles, binoculars, searchlights, gunner's quadrants, compasses, periscopes, telescopes, and mounts, surveying sets, and fire direction sets.
  2. Visually inspects optical instrument equipment and operates mechanisms to determine serviceability, damaged or worn parts, and malfunctions. Uses special fixtures, testing, and measuring equipment such as telescope and azimuth test fixtures, binocular collimator fixture, surface plate, micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges, for adjusting and testing optical instruments and devices.
  3. Abides by safety precautions when working with compressors, hoses, and tank testing equipment. Analyzes and tests continuity of electrical circuits by utilizing test equipment such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, and multi-voltage test set. Required to inspect, diagnose, and repair high voltage power sources used with night vision devices, aware of the hazards involved in checking high voltage circuits.
  4. Serves as a commodity inspector during technical inspections, Command Maintenance Evaluation Team (COMET) or Maintenance Assistance and (MAIT) Instruction Team. Provides technical advice and assistance to units and field maintenance shops throughout the state. Troubleshoots and makes on-the-spot corrections, repairs, and adjustments when possible. Compensation

Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Manager level and above, total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.

Requirements:
  •  2–5 years of experience in account management, project coordination, customer success, or service delivery roles; experience in MSP, technology consulting, or SaaS is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and executive levels.
  •  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and facilitating collaborative outcomes.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with service delivery frameworks and IT operating models.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.

The Direct Sales Associate is a hands-on, in-the-field role where you’ll meet residents (door knocking). You’ll introduce our company, educate potential customers, and represent the Greenlight Networks (formerly FastBridge Fiber) brand. We provide in-house training, tools, and support to help you master your pitch and convert residents in our serviceable areas to customers.


In this role you’ll be on a team that works hard and has fun! We’re looking for team members who want to be successful and are looking for a career, so we’ll teach you consultative sales techniques that will allow you to drive referrals and that will make you money.


Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective customers face-to-face which includes canvassing (door-to-door) using a consultative sales strategy. This includes hanging door hangers and distributing other marketing materials.
  • Required participation in local community events, pop-up events, guerrilla marketing tactics, and marketing programs to drive awareness of FastBridge and grow our customer base.
  • Be proud advocates of the company and exude the FastBridge brand.
  • Explain the differences between FastBridge Fiber and the competition.
  • Follow up with customers that have activated to ensure their satisfaction and gain insight and feedback to be shared with the team. You’ll also get referrals this way!
  • Be proactive in following up on all leads.
  • Monitor competition in your area to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.

Non-Launch Week: Business as usual/The majority of your schedule.

Monday through Friday: 10:00am-6:30pm EST

Launch Week: Exciting! We are launching our service in a new area!

Monday through Thursday: 11:00am- 7:30pm EST

Friday: 1:00pm- 6:00pm EST

Saturday: 12:00am-4:00pm EST
