The Behavioral Health Consultant provides primary care-based behavioral health services to clients with complex or chronic needs, depending on the assigned program as determined in the treatment or care plan of the client. Clinical Psychologist:

What You'll Do:

• Provide on-site behavioral health services in a primary care clinic.
  
• Provide consultation with Providers to aid or assist in the primary care of patients.
  
• Serve as primary mental health Provider or ancillary health Provider as needed.
  
• Assist care team with ICD-11 diagnoses, adding mental health differential diagnoses and contextual and relational perspectives.
  
• Work across disciplines to provide equitable biopsychosocial-spiritual care, intervening in support of team and patient goals.
  
• Use culturally informed and evidence-based literature for shared decision-making around health behaviors and assist with navigating the healthcare system.
  
• Work in a closely organized, interdisciplinary team on treatment plans, patient advocacy, and clinic processes.
  
• Conduct individual and group training for staff in areas of expertise and to community organizations as requested by supervisor.
  
• Develop research-related funding proposals.
  
• Partner with other Providers to triage referrals.
  
• Provide coverage and backup for other Providers.
  
• May assign patients to team clinicians.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
• Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), American Psychological Association (APA) and YVFWC requirements.
  
• Represent the program at meetings as requested by Behavioral Health or clinic leadership.
  
• Participate in the development of new programming and projects related to Behavioral Health
  

Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements:

• Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
  
• Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings, providing diagnostic and psychological assessments for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in specialty behavioral health settings.
  
• Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
  

Master's Level Therapist Requirements

• Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  
• Experience Required: Two years of postgraduate/master's experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance; such experience must have been gained under the supervision of a mental health professional. Washington State designation as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) may be substituted for this experience requirement.
  
• Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire. One of the following licenses is required for this position (must apply for within one week of hire if the license is not current):
  
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

What You’ll Do:

Machine set-up and operation

Package a variety of sausage products using high tech equipment

Warehousing (preparing finished product and documents for shipment)

Plant Sanitation, equipment wash down

Quality check products for defects (irregular sausages, sausages with defects)

Record production information on proper forms.

Perform quality checks (i.e., date & label checks).

Rotate through various positions on the production line.

Follow production guidelines of food safety.

What You'll Do:

• Provides care during patient visits, discussing chief complaint and obtaining vital signs and complete health history for the patient. Develops a baseline physical assessment
  
• Performs phone triage with patients to determine chief complaint and assessment of next steps and follow up care needed
  
• Documents health history, assessments, actions and medications in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  
• Assists providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments
  
• Performs IV Starts when ordered. Provides information to patient regarding the procedure, including site selection and possible complications
  
• Communicates with patient to collect information on allergies and preexisting conditions
  
• Provides information to patient regarding the procedure, including site selection and possible complications
  
• Identifies the purpose, side effects, and onset of action for each class of drug being given to patient. Explains medication, usage and possible side effects to patient/guardian and obtains consent
  
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers in developing patient plan of care. Coordinates and plans interagency referrals related to patient care as directed by the provider
  
• Collaborates with provider in implementing the patient plan of care including providing education and identifying additional services needed for the patient. Initiates follow-up care plan as needed
  
• Collaborates with ancillary staff to process patients based on providers' schedule, maintaining smooth patient flow
  
• Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing
  
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
  
• 1 year of outpatient or clinical RN experience is preferred
  
• Active WA RN license
  
• Dual Washington/Oregon licensure required within 120 days:
  
  • Eastern Region clinics: Sunnyside IC, Grandview Medical, Mountainview, Valley Vista, Miramar Kennewick, Miramar Pasco, Family Medical Center, Unify Mission, Unify Northeast, and Mirasol.
    
  • Western Oregon Regions: Salud Medical Center, Pacific Pediatrics, Rosewood Family Health Center, Rosewood Family Health Center at Lents, Lancaster Family Health Center at Beverly, Lancaster Family Health Center at Lancaster, Coastal Family Health Center, and Community Health Center Clatskanie.
    
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC): If the RN holds a license from a participating NLC state, they must provide proof of primary state of residence and proof of completed suicide - prevention training during the first week of onboarding. If relocating to Washington, the RN must obtain a Washington RN license within 6 months of hire and update their primary state of residence within 60 days of relocation.
