Overview


The Sales Manager II role generates maximum sales efficiencies, while maintaining or exceeding targeted Volume Per Guest. This position assists with the supervision of the In House and Action Line through coaching, modeling, and reinforcing effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results. This Manager is the lead on any and all customer service issues that require experienced and speedy resolution.



Responsibilities



  • Shapes Strategy for Improving Levels of Customer Service: Supports the Director of Sales and Sr Sales Manager by challenging established methods, exploring problems, processes, and solutions in new ways, and identifying novel solutions to old problems by trying new methods and technologies, including enhancing business results and the customer experience.

  • Supports the Execution of Sales Strategies: Responsible for the performance of the overall team and ensuring sales contracts are executed; follows up on personal sales activity, including conversion of pending business and post-cancellation calls; addresses concerns regarding the conduct of a Sales Executive and collaborates with the DOS and Senior Managers.

  • Drives for Results: Individual production performance meets or exceeds minimum standards; responsible for closing sales in accordance with current policies; maintains strong product knowledge and assists Sales Executives with Guest questions; interacts with Guests to ensure understanding of HGV product and vacation ownership; strategizes with Sales Executives regarding sales presentations and product pitches; conducts motivational morning sales meetings; helps manage the leadership team in supervising Sales Executives and holding them accountable for adherence to policies; generates maximum performance using predefined metrics; ensures contracts are completed properly and processed; manages staff performance and creates a positive work environment; performs other reasonable requests as assigned by management.



Qualifications - What are we looking for?



  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Active Hawaii State Real Estate License

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

  • 1-2 years of management experience or 4-9 months of internal HGV management experience

  • 1-2 years of branded vacation ownership experience

  • 1+ years of demonstrated ability to train and motivate individuals in the field of direct sales

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

Physical Requirements

Standing

Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".

Walking

For short distances for short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.

Sitting

Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table

Lifting

Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.

Carrying

Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray. During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.

Pushing

To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24" - 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled.

Climbing

Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance. During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.

Stooping/Bending

Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.

Crouching/Squatting

Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.

Reaching

Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.

Driving

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area. A Team Member may make several deliveries per shift.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids

Team Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

Driving Specific Job Duties

Deliver product by car and then to door of customer. Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requires

Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.

Job Details

Salary Range: $216,695 - $325,042

* We typically place offers in the lower to middle portion of the range to maintain internal equity and allow room for growth. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.

Bonus Program: As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be eligible to participate in a Bonus Program, which is paid out every quarter, based on restaurant performance.
What a day in the life for a Restaurant General Manger can look like:
  • Control profitability by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining property inventory levels, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Recruit, interview and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers.
  • Coach and train all employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success.
  • Complete inventory counts every other week.
  • Ensure the restaurant is kept clean, and the team provides an exceptional visit for the guests with friendliness and a quality product.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as General Manager in food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility preferably in quick serve restaurant (QSR).
  • Managers must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
  • Ability to lift, carry, stack, push or pull heavy objects. Stand and walk constantly for entire shifts. Maneuver through compact spaces safely and operate restaurant equipment.

Restaurant General Manager Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law and will be discussed during the hiring process. The expected starting compensation ranges for new hires in this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:
  • State of Maryland: $55,000 - $60,000
