Associate Media Director
Prophet
New York, NY

Associate Media Director

We are looking for an Associate Media Director to lead integrated media strategy and planning for a portfolio of B2B and consumer clients, with a particular focus on financial services. You'll be the senior media strategist on your accounts: starting from each client's business goals, defining what success looks like in commercial terms, and building the audience, channel, and investment strategy to get there.

You'll partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Analytics, PMO, and Client Leadership teams, as well as the activation specialists who bring plans to life in market. The right person for this role thinks like a business advisor first: someone who can explain to a CMO or head of distribution how media is moving the numbers they care about, who uses AI-powered tools to work faster and smarter, and who builds a team that does the same. You'll build long-term relationships with senior clients and supervise and mentor junior members of the media team.

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Translate client business objectives and commercial targets (e.g., asset growth and net flows, advisor engagement, new accounts, qualified pipeline, customer lifetime value) into clear media strategies, investment frameworks, and budget and channel allocations
  • Develop integrated, full-funnel media plans across paid, owned, and earned channels that balance long-term brand building with near-term demand, and make a clear case for how each investment ladders up to business results
  • Lead audience strategy, segmentation, and journey development across complex decision-makers, including B2B buying committees, financial advisors and intermediaries, institutional investors, and consumers
  • Uncover the audience, category, and competitive insights that sharpen strategy, drawing on syndicated research, first-party data, and AI-assisted analysis
  • Build scenario plans and forecasts that show clients the expected business impact of different investment levels and channel mixes

Measurement & Business Impact

  • Define success up front in business terms, and partner with Analytics to build measurement frameworks that connect media investment to outcomes such as leads, pipeline, revenue, and asset growth
  • Bring a test-and-learn mindset to every account, applying incrementality testing, lift studies, media mix modeling, and attribution, and knowing which approach best answers which business question
  • Turn performance data into investment recommendations: shift budget toward what is driving business results, and help clients understand the tradeoffs behind each decision
  • Ensure clean connections between media platforms and client marketing automation and CRM systems so media can be tied to downstream results
  • Provide oversight of campaign activation and tracking (taxonomy, tagging, conversion tracking), partnering with planners and activation specialists to ensure execution stays true to strategy

AI-Enabled Ways of Working

  • Use AI-powered tools across the planning workflow (research, audience insight, competitive analysis, plan development, scenario modeling, and reporting) to reduce manual work and create more time for strategic thinking
  • Evaluate the AI capabilities emerging in media platforms, planning tools, and agency workflows; pilot what is promising and help the team adopt it with sound judgment around data privacy, accuracy, and client compliance requirements
  • Stay current on emerging media, platforms, and how AI is changing the way audiences discover and research brands, and bring timely points of view to internal teams and clients

Client Leadership

  • Serve as the senior media voice on your accounts, leading status meetings and presenting plans and results as clear business stories for director-, VP-, and C-level stakeholders
  • Understand each client's business model, distribution strategy, competitive landscape, and go-to-market priorities, including the regulatory, compliance, and brand-safety considerations (e.g., FINRA and SEC marketing rules) that shape media for financial services brands
  • Lead the development of proposals and scopes of work for media projects, and contribute strategic thinking to new business pitches

Business & Vendor Management

  • Manage media budgets, billing forecasts, and the profitability of media work
  • Manage relationships and contracts with media vendors and publisher partners on behalf of clients; negotiate value and hold partners accountable to delivery and results
  • Evaluate and recommend data, technology, and media partners based on their ability to drive client outcomes, cost, and fit

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop media planners and supervisors, coaching them to think strategically, connect their work to client business results, and use AI tools effectively
  • Help establish best practices and repeatable, AI-enabled processes for planning, measurement, and reporting

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of media strategy and planning experience, primarily in an agency environment, with a track record of integrated plans that delivered measurable business results
  • Financial services experience is required; asset or wealth management experience is strongly preferred. You understand how firms market to financial advisors, intermediaries, institutional investors, and individual investors, and you're comfortable working within legal and compliance review processes
  • Strong commercial acumen: you can read a client's business model, connect marketing investment to revenue and growth targets, and talk about ROI with confidence
  • Working knowledge of modern measurement approaches, including incrementality testing, media mix modeling, and multi-touch attribution, and experience applying them to real budget decisions
  • Comfort with AI-powered workflows: you regularly use generative AI and AI-enabled planning tools to accelerate research, analysis, and deliverables, and you're curious about where the technology is headed
  • Cross-channel fluency across paid social, search, programmatic, CTV and online video, audio, and content partnerships, with enough platform knowledge (e.g., LinkedIn, Meta, Google, DV360, The Trade Desk) to direct and pressure-test activation
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar media budgets and media vendor relationships
  • Fluency with media research and planning tools (e.g., MRI-Simmons, Kantar, Pathmatics, MediaRadar, GWI)
  • Experience supervising and developing junior team members
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills; you're at your best leading conversations with senior client stakeholders
  • A confident self-starter and creative problem solver who manages multiple priorities, stays detail-oriented under pressure, and leads with strategy while staying grounded in how the work gets done
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • Experience reaching financial advisors and institutional audiences, including advisor-focused platforms, financial trade publications, and thought-leadership content programs
  • Experience with demand generation, account-based marketing, and intent data platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Bombora)
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Experience building or using AI assistants, agents, or automations within media planning and reporting workflows

Location: Any Prophet U.S. office: San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, or Austin (Hybrid working model: 3+ full days in office/at client site)

Salary: $110,000 $125,000 USD

Office Manager/Executive Assistant
Liquid AI
Cambridge, MA

Liquid AI Executive Assistant

Spun out of MIT CSAIL, we're building AI systems that run where others stall: on CPUs, with low latency, minimal memory, and maximum reliability. We partner with global enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We're scaling rapidly and want exceptional people to help us get there.

Our Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer leads Liquid's research agenda while working across the company and engaging with partners, academia, and the wider AI community. This role is his dedicated Executive Assistant, owning his calendar, travel, and preparation so his time goes to the highest-leverage work.

Alongside that, you'll run our Boston office end to end. This is a deliberately broad role: one hour you might be restructuring a week of research and partner meetings, the next you're managing a vendor, welcoming a visitor, or setting up for an evening event.

You'll own the space, the vendors, the budget, and the day-to-day experience of everyone who walks through the door employees, new hires, partners, and visitors.

What We're Looking For

Someone who:

  • Owns the diary, not just the calendar: You understand the "why" behind every meeting, protect time for deep work, and make judgment calls on what gets in and what doesn't.
  • Anticipates before being asked: You review the week ahead, spot gaps in preparation, surface conflicts, and make sure the right materials are ready before anyone requests them.
  • Operates across audiences: You're equally comfortable coordinating with senior external partners, world-class researchers, and building management.
  • Takes ownership of the physical space: You treat the office as a product you notice what's broken, low, or off before anyone else, and you fix it without being asked.
  • Thrives in ambiguity: Priorities shift, schedules change, and new workstreams emerge. You treat these as puzzles to solve, not disruptions to endure.
  • Has no task too big or too small: You take as much pride in the details of a Tuesday as in a flawless offsite.

The Work

Executive Support (CSO)

  • Own and manage a complex, fast-moving calendar: filtering requests, aligning with strategic priorities, and protecting time for research and high-leverage external work
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and context ahead of meetings, and track follow-ups and commitments afterward so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including conferences, speaking engagements, and partner visits
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders seeking time with the CSO
  • Provide backup coverage for other executive assistants when needed

Boston Office Management

  • Own day-to-day operations of the Boston office: supplies, kitchen and catering, mail and deliveries, seating, and workspace upkeep
  • Manage facilities vendors and building management relationships, including contracts, service issues, and access/badging
  • Be the on-site point of contact for the office the first face for visitors and the person employees go to when something needs sorting
  • Support new hire first days on-site: desk setup, equipment coordination with IT, and a proper welcome
  • Own the partner and visitor experience: logistics, preparation, and atmosphere for high-value engagements at the Boston office
  • Plan and run Boston office events, team socials, dinners, and offsites, including vendor sourcing and budget management
  • Manage the office and events budget, tracking spend and flagging variances
  • Travel occasionally (35 times per year) for events

Desired Experience

Must-haves:

  • Experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced/high-growth tech or research environments, with demonstrated ability to take initiative and operate beyond core administrative tasks
  • Office management or facilities coordination experience, including vendor and budget ownership
  • Complex calendar and travel coordination experience, ideally for a leader with heavy external and speaking commitments
  • Strong business context awareness: you understand the "why" behind meetings, not just logistics, and can flag when priorities conflict
  • Event planning and vendor management experience
  • Ability to work in the Boston office 5 days per week this is an in-person role by design
  • Skilled in Google Workspace

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience supporting a technical, research, or academic leader
  • Experience hosting external partners or clients in professional settings
  • Experience standing up or scaling office operations in a growing company
  • Slack experience

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • The CSO's calendar is structured around research and high-leverage external activities, giving him back hours each week
  • Nothing slips: meetings are prepared, follow-ups are tracked, and stakeholders trust you as the route to his time
  • The Boston office runs itself as far as anyone can tell functional, welcoming, and a place people want to work from
  • Boston events run smoothly and on budget, and partner visits consistently leave a strong impression

What We Offer

  • Access: Direct exposure to a co-founder and the research leadership of a frontier AI lab; a vantage point into high-stakes decision-making
  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage company
  • Health: We pay 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your dependents
  • Financial: 401(k) matching up to 4% of base pay
  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO plus company-wide "Refill" days
  • Environment: Catered lunches, commuter benefits, and a culture that values deep work

Multifamily Capital Markets, Professional
Freddie Mac
Mc Lean, VA

Freddie Mac Mission

At Freddie Mac, our mission of Making Home Possible is what motivates us, and it's at the core of everything we do. Since our charter in 1970, we have made home possible for more than 90 million families across the country. Join an organization where your work contributes to a greater purpose.

Position Overview

Multifamily Capital Markets is seeking an exceptionally curious, analytical, and driven professional to help identify, prioritize, and deliver the initiatives that can most improve the business. This is a rare opportunity to develop a broad view across the Multifamily Capital Markets organization, including loan pricing, pipeline risk management, portfolio management, securitization, credit-risk transfer, operations, and technology.

You will work directly with a Capital Markets leader who brings deep Multifamily expertise, extensive Wall Street markets and product experience, and a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex financial problems.

Together, you will examine how the business operates, identify its highest-impact opportunities, challenge existing assumptions, and develop solutions from first principles.

This is a hands-on role combining original problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and end-to-end initiative delivery. You will research unfamiliar topics; analyze financial, market, and operational data; build analytical models and lightweight Python prototypes; test hypotheses; frame business questions; and develop fact-based recommendations. You will write the memos and presentations that move decisions forward, document conclusions and requirements, coordinate contributors, maintain project plans and follow-ups, and drive multiple initiatives through organizational and technical roadblocks from initial idea through implementation.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys learning unfamiliar topics, solving difficult problems, and taking ownership of outcomes. We are less interested in finding someone who has seen every situation before and more interested in finding someone who can quickly understand a new problem, develop a fact-based view, and help drive it to resolution. Exceptional candidates often demonstrate impact that exceeds what would normally be expected given their years of experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to operate with substantial independence and combine analytical depth with exceptional conscientiousness and execution discipline. The role requires someone who takes ownership, maintains momentum across multiple complex initiatives, pursues unresolved issues, and keeps driving until decisions are made and outcomes are delivered.

Our Impact

Multifamily Capital Markets sits at the intersection of markets, products, risk, capital, and the economics of the Multifamily business. The department prices loans, manages pipeline and portfolio exposures, accesses the capital markets through securitization and credit-risk transfer, and manages retained investments.

The Strategy and Priorities function takes a department-wide view. We identify the questions and opportunities with the greatest potential impact, develop a clear view of the economics and trade-offs, and work across functions to help turn the best ideas into durable business improvements.

This role will help department leadership:

  • Identify the opportunities and problems with the greatest potential impact on the business.
  • Create an integrated view across products, risks, economics, and Capital Markets functions.
  • Improve transparency into business performance, risk, and management trade-offs.
  • Move promising ideas from concept through implementation.
  • Ensure important initiatives have clear ownership, decisions, and follow-through.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

  • Help leadership prioritize initiatives based on business value, urgency, complexity, and resource requirements.
  • Turn broad ideas and unresolved business issues into defined objectives, analyses, workstreams, and decisions.
  • Examine problems from first principles, test assumptions, and develop fact-based recommendations.
  • Coordinate work across Capital Markets teams and partners in Finance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and other parts of the company.
  • Establish owners, milestones, dependencies, and decision points; anticipate roadblocks; pursue open items; and keep initiatives moving toward resolution.
  • Gather and reconcile information, analyze financial, market, and operational data, build quantitative models, and identify gaps or conflicting conclusions.
  • Write concise, decision-ready memos and presentations that explain the issue, analysis, alternatives, economics, recommendation, and required actions.
  • Translate agreed-upon approaches into clear business requirements and implementation plans.
  • Remain engaged through delivery while ensuring that the appropriate business or operating function owns the resulting capability.
  • Develop analyses and Python prototypes when useful to test an idea, demonstrate an approach, or clarify business and technical requirements.
  • Take ownership of issues that do not fit neatly within existing teams or processes and help drive them from initial question through implemented solution.

The candidate will be expected to frame issues independently, work directly with senior leaders and subject-matter experts, resolve cross-functional obstacles, and maintain ownership and momentum across multiple complex initiatives with limited direction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in capital markets, financial services, portfolio management, securitization, quantitative analysis, business analysis, product development, initiative delivery, consulting, strategy, or related analytical fields.
  • Familiarity with fixed income, mortgages, derivatives, hedging, credit-risk transfer, or asset-liability management is beneficial but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and working proficiency with Python, SQL, Excel.
  • Demonstrated conscientiousness, ownership, and follow-through while managing several concurrent projects.
  • Understanding of P&L, financial analysis, market-risk measurement, capital allocation, or financial reporting is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, quantitative finance, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Keys to Success in This Role:

Curiosity: Wants to understand how the business actually works and does not stop at the first explanation. Enjoys learning unfamiliar topics and developing expertise in new areas.

A First-Principles Thinker: Separates fundamental objectives and economics from inherited processes, assumptions, and conventional wisdom.

A Self-Starter: Does not wait for detailed instructions. Identifies opportunities, develops approaches independently, and maintains momentum through ambiguity and competing priorities.

An Owner: Treats commitments as personal responsibilities. Closes loops, follows through on open issues, and remains engaged until outcomes are delivered.

Organized and Conscientious: Can coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, establish structure where none exists, track commitments, identify roadblocks, and ensure important details do not fall through the cracks.

Quantitatively Capable: Can independently analyze financial data, develop models, and build prototypes that test an idea or demonstrate how a solution should work.

Confident and Collaborative: Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and subject-matter experts. Able to ask questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and build alignment across teams.
