48 bed acute care freestanding psych hospital in Newburgh looking for a Psychiatrist to work 8 hour shifts with a schedule of 14 days on 14 days off and call coverage on the weekend. Provider MUST be able to accommodate this schedule!
Call coverage will only be during the 14-day rotation. 8a-5p on Saturday and Sunday.
Further Clarification on Schedule:
The rotation starts on a Monday and ends on a Sunday. They will take weekend PM call both weekends during rotation. Typically it will be an 8 hour shift beginning at 8:00am, possibly less/possibly more.
The site is looking for a a local or drive in candidate only.

• Schedule: 3-5 day stretch over a weekend once a month
• The Locums provider will cover all trauma and emergency general surgery.
• Does NOT cover ICU. No trainees. All subspecialty support is needed for consults.
• Busy Level 2 Trauma Center, Level 1 STEMI center, with approximately 2000 activations annually, 80K ED visits. 30 ORs with 1 blocked trauma OR, a second if needed, and a designated EGS room.

Our HCA facility in Kansas City, MO is in need of locums EM coverage starting ASAP and this is ongoing need. They have both day and night shifts available. All standard ER procedures are required. Inpatient consults are seen during the day to allow inpatient rounding or to finish documentation. Our physicians attempt to see inpatients during the blocks but when they have a full schedule, they see the inpatients at the end of the day.
Meditech is used for inpatient and outpatient
-Provider will work independently. Most of the time is spent in the clinic seeing on treatment patients, new consults and long term follow ups.
-Additionally 2-3 inpatient visits a day.
-There are two other physicians and an APP who work in the same clinic but they will have their own patient schedules.
-The physician will have a dedicated exam nurse most of the day. Clinic is well supported by nursing and administrative staff.
-No admissions but expected to be available after hours for any clinical care questions for admitted patients or emergencies.
-Very low call volume.
