Job Details

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13 week travel assignment in Willits, CA. Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in physical therapy
  • Physical Therapy experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Summary:

The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care.

Essential Work Functions:

  • Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
  • Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices
  • Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term functional recovery
  • Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patients’ comfort needs during therapy sessions
  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in physical therapy
  • Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home-based settings
  • Performs other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Required Essential Skills:

  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
  • Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
  • Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
  • Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

What you will do 

 
Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components. 

 
Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

Brazer I under frequent supervisor and direction from area supervisor must be able to perform a combination of welding and testing tasks to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards.  Brazer I typically weld similar materials together (mainly copper) using a filler material. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1) Performs a brazing using a gas torch welding similar materials together (mainly copper) using a filler material.  Performs standard soft copper brazing in coils, headers, and partial valve pack materials following detailed work instructions, processes and procedures (written and verbal) to meet and exceed customer expectations.  Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering specifications, engineering drawings, and shop orders to weld coil units.  Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). 

2) Safety Awareness Take responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others.  Understand the proper processes/equipment in the department.  Knowledge of JSA’s, PPE usage, 5S, and all safety regulations in the facility.  Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions and complies with all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. 

3) Quality - Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisors.  Performs first article inspection for conformance to specifications both blue print and work order.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and six months of experience.  Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.  Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.  Demonstrates an attention to detail.  Ability to read, communicate and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints and engineering drawings in the English Language.

Must successfully complete the JCI Brazer training within 30 days of starting the position.

What we look for 

Required  

  • Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on commercial/industrial water-cooled chillers, air cooled chillers, commercial roof top units, variable refrigerant flow systems, air handling units, cooling towers and chilled water and condenser water pumps. Strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience. 
  • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers system components.
  • Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license  
  • Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, trouble shooting and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
  • Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.  
  • You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.
