Job Summary

Provide high quality images, to include sophisticated special procedures, through operation of specialized equipment which ensures optimum clarity for physician diagnosis and minimum discomfort and radiation exposure to patients. Provides for patient care and initiates life support measures as necessary. Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers.

Possesses the skills and knowledge to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans, as well as the ability to perform related procedures and protocols. Has the ability to learn and utilize new technology as well as orient new employees. Qualifications

Must be a graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.

Thorough understanding of diagnostic radiographic principles, including film processing, quality control and radiation protection; must have knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and an understanding of computer language.

Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Attain registration within two years of hire. CT certification preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing ultrasounds in a professional and diagnostic manner. Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Qualifications

Must have completed an educational program in ultrasonography or equivalent work experience.

Prior experience as a sonographer is preferred.

Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. If not registered, must obtain registry

within two years of hire. Employees working in mobile unit must have valid drivers license and a good driving record.

  • The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is designated 12-bed short-stay unit specifically for observation patients.
  • Patients will be moved and monitored in the CDU post-operatively or when further medical evaluation is necessary to determine treatment plan.
  • Unit will include: Patient Care Techs, RNs, CNCs, and Manager.
  • Schedule: 3 12-hr shifts plus rotating weekends (7p-7a).

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Summary:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining internal controls, and supervising a team of AP staff. Job Summary and Qualifications:

  • Perform direct patient care and act as support person, advocate and educator within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for the Radiation Oncology service line.
  • Determine the predictable or unpredictable health status and health needs of patients (individual and family) through interpretation of health data and preventive practice in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary health care team members.
  • Utilize a systematic approach to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient.
  • Formulate a nursing care plan based on determination of nursing diagnoses and identified problems.
  • Implement nursing care within the RNs scope of practice, including compliance with other laws that apply to the practice setting.
  • Develop and implement teaching plans for patients concerning promotion, maintenance and restoration of health, as related to current disease-specific state.
  • Provide education, emotional support and age specific care to foster a partnership with the patient and significant others.
  • Provide for the care of multiple patients (individual and family) either through direct care or assignment and/or delegation of care to other members of the healthcare team.
  • Evaluate the patients (individual and family) responses and outcomes to therapeutic interventions.
  • Use critical thinking approach to analyze clinical data and current literature as a basis for decision making in nursing practice.
  • Provide comprehensive discharge coordination and planning for medically fragile patients with complex discharge needs.
  • Coordinates a plan of care, including appointments, transportation, and education, serving as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding services for this unique population.
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with physicians, social workers, surgeons, nurses, office staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Follows patients by phone to continue to navigate patient and help coordinate future medical needs.
  • Serves as a supportive point person when patients are readmitted to the hospital.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of resources to achieve efficient, high quality outcomes for each patient including support for interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Identifies patterns and issues that arise after discharge and implements solutions that improve the quality of care.
  • Aid in the education process for new and established referral practitioners and outpatient clinics regarding radiation oncology and Cyberknife.
  • Act as a consultant to multidisciplinary health care team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
  • BSN required
  • Previous Oncology experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
  • Current AHA or ARC ACLS provider within 6 months
